Scissors, a V9, & the hardest thing I’ve ever faced.

This is probably the most personal I have been in a video, which might not be obvious when you first sit down with it, but it took a lot for me to edit and actually decide to hit “upload”. Some of you might have noticed how long my hair has gotten, and my general disheveled aesthetic – and yes, I can be a bit of a dirt-bag, but things got a bit out of hand, and honestly, for good reason. I needed a change, but wasn’t ready for it.

In this video, I take you through the hardest boulder problem I have tried to climb (Black Eagle – V9 – The Niagara Glen) and one of the hardest things I have had to face in my life thus far. I might be sounding like a broken record, but climbing is my therapy, and I am forever grateful for it.
